Who We Are

We are Ink Time Academy, a mobile tattoo team serving Merrillville, IN and the surrounding communities. We come to you. Whether you want a first piece or you want to build a career behind the machine, we bring the same focus to every appointment. Our work is precise. Our teaching is patient. Both come from years of practice at the skin and years of practice explaining the craft. We run a full tattoo apprenticeship program that gives future artists real hands-on training, honest feedback, and structured education instead of guesswork.

On the client side, we handle black and gray tattoos with clean gradients, color tattoos with saturated depth, and realism and semi-realism pieces that hold up over time. We design and place sleeve tattoos that flow with the arm, back tattoos that use the full canvas, and chest tattoos that follow the body naturally. Every project starts with a design conversation. We offer custom tattoo design work, so you are not choosing from a wall of flash unless you want to. We also take on anime tattoos and smaller pieces for people testing the water.

Estimates are free, so you know the scope before we ink anything. We also run a loyalty reward program for clients who keep coming back for new work. We keep the process simple and the standards high. You get a straight answer about what a piece takes, what it costs, and how it will age.
